Community Housing Impact & Preservation Program (CHIP)
The Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program (CHIP) is administered by Kleinfelder Inc. on behalf of Wood County. Residents of the City of Bowling Green can now apply for assistance through Wood County's Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program (CHIP).

Section 8 Rental Assistance
The Section 8 rental assistance program for the City of Bowling Green is administered by the Henry Metropolitan Housing Authority in Napoleon, Ohio. For more information on the Section 8 rental assistance program, please call 419-592-1735.
Homelessness Assistance
The Transitional Housing for the Homeless program provides shelter and assesses homeless individuals' needs through social workers employed by The Salvation Army. Following intake, The Salvation Army links participants with specific resources designed to meet each individual's needs. This includes career development, public assistance, transportation options, etc., in an effort to lift individuals up and out of homelessness. For more information call 419-352-5918.
