Bowling Green has been chosen by Ohio Magazine as one of the state's FIVE BEST HOMETOWNS for 2008. The November issue for NW Ohio subscribers features a view from the northeast corner of Main and Wooster streets looking down West Wooster. A two-page spread inside the magazine offers local highlights and photographs. Mayor John Quinn was happy to hear his city had been selected even though he has known all along that Bowling Green is a great hometown. "The good news is this is a great place to live, and these kinds of things just kind of validate it for the people who live here more than anything else," he said.
